Yeah! I guess should have asked the sensor, are you using a kinect/xtion/primesense one? And you like better the udroid-x2 vs udroid-u2?
U2 has a smaller form factor. I believe if we are going to use a small computer, we shall go for the smallest. Xtion has a few bugs in it, and somehow I get better performance with Kinect. i.e., slightly more cpu usage with Xtion. I believe it may have to do with the image format (YUV422) of the RGB camera. However, Kinect is way to big, and defected the whole purpose of having such small devices.
Thanks for posting this great project. My question might be very simple: How do you connect the Kinect to the odroid board? Do you need other IO board to connect it? I'm going to order a odroid-U2 and wonder what other parts I need on the hardkernel webiste in order to begin a project like this. I already have a Kinect sensor.

I would get the Xtion from ASUS, it doesn't need external power, and much smaller.
Great stuff Raymond. I'm looking to work on this as well (and maybe contribute if I can). I already have a kinect (from my last project from a cpl of years back to use the kinect with the PS3 :) ). Do you have a github account or another repository where you share the source code?
My U2 should be here in a week. This has been moved to the top of my list once it arrives.
